Update:
The Hub will close on October 13th and become Discovery Family, and Hasbro will hold 40% of the company. My Little Pony will be shown on Discovery Family during the daytime block in early 2015. Beyond season 5 there is no knowledge of where it will go or what will happen. All things vary from a season 6, to restarting from season 1 on another channel, to overall cancellation. I'd like to mention however that this is technically true of any show so...yeah.
It has come to my attention that the network that has brought us MLP, "The Hub" is going to close in the near future. Hasbro has ended it's partnerships with the corperation that keeps The Hub on TV and as such the channel is going to go away. It's replacement may get MLP, but MLP may also go to a new channel entirely. Possibilities include Disney and Cartoon Network. Let's see how this works out shall we?

MLP Season 9 Will be the End
So today I got news that MLP FiM will be ending in it's final season after 9 years on television. I heard a ton of rumors of it up til now but we seem to have an official word of it now from the show's creator. It's kinda sad to hear but honestly it's probably for the best. To be frankly honest MLP's fanbase has been on a downward slope for years now. It peaked in the 2013-2014ish range, and since then has gone from relevant to damn near silent at times. I've honestly had times where I'm talking to people and they're genuinely surprised to hear this show is still airing. But it's been nice and for what time I took part in it pretty heavily I
Changes to Submission Policy
Due to the majority of images submitted to the group being rejected for failure to meet the standards of the group and what we do and don't accept, submission of images is now restricted to "Contributors" rank or higher only. If you are a pony TF artist, and feel your content should be in the group and wish to be a contributor, simply apply using the join group button and hit "Contributors". This may surprise people, but I never watched the Hub. Since I live in Canada, I have to watch it on Treehouse, a channel made for kids 2-8. But since I a don't watch TV anymore, I just go on Youtube. So this news doesn't really effect me.
